According to Israeli media reports, the Israeli army (IDF) is facing a reduction in the number of soldiers.
According to figures released by the IDF, after the long war, the number of pro-reservists to fight in Gaza and Lebanon has decreased by 15 to 25 percent.
The Israeli military says the reduction in troop numbers is affecting the IDF's operational decisions in the war.
According to Israeli media, the situation comes as the governing coalition in Israel is trying to pass a law exempting conservative Jews from compulsory military service.
It should be noted that at the beginning of the Israeli war in Gaza, which began a year ago, the rate of pro-reservists to join the army was 100 percent.
According to Israeli media, even though the required number of reserve soldiers was met at the beginning of the war, more soldiers were also demanding to join the war and some reservists returned to Israel from abroad just to participate in the war.
However, with the war going on for more than a year now and the possibility of an end to the war in the near future, the reserve forces are shying away from joining the war.

اسرائیلی فوج کا کہنا ہے کہ فوجیوں کی تعداد میں کمی سے جنگ میں آئی ڈی ایف کے آپریشنل فیصلے متاثر ہورہے ہیں۔
اسرائیلی میڈیا کے مطابق یہ صورتحال اس وقت سامنے آئی ہے جب اسرائیل میں حکومتی اتحاد قدامت پسند یہودیوں کو فوج میں لازمی سروس سے استثنیٰ دینے کے قانون کی منظوری کے لیے کوششیں کررہا ہے۔
خیال رہے کہ ایک سال قبل غزہ میں شروع ہونے والی اسرائیلی جنگ کے آغاز میں فوج میں شامل ہونے کے لیے حامی بھرنے والے ریزرو فوجیوں کی شرح 100 فیصد تھی۔
اسرائیلی میڈیا کے مطابق جنگ کے آغاز میں ریزرو فوجیوں کی درکار تعداد پوری ہونے کے باوجود مزید فوجی بھی جنگ میں شامل ہونے کا مطالبہ کررہے تھے اور کچھ ریزرو فوجی بیرون ملک سے صرف جنگ میں شرکت کے لیے اسرائیل واپس آئے تھے۔
تاہم اب ایک سال سے زائد عرصے سے جاری جنگ اور مستقبل قریب میں جنگ کے اختتام کا امکان نہ ہونے کے باعث ریزرو فوجی جنگ میں شامل ہونے سے کترانے لگے ہیں۔
